Are you up for the real challenge? Where on earth is HUMAN intelligence and creativity heading?
With the ongoing exponential evolution of ChatGPT, Mid-journey, Phyron AI Video and other AI innovations … exactly what can you and I and everybody else continue to do better than artificial intelligence?
I’m asking you because, honestly, I don’t have a clue. It’s a simple practical question, so let’s stay clear of any deep existential answers.
No, I’m not worried. At Phyron AI more than half of my young and insanely creative colleagues are happily engaged in continued development. My great-grandparents couldn’t even begin to understand what I have been up to during the past decades. And I cannot even begin to grasp what my sweet great-granddaughter Cléo will do for a living a quarter century or so from now.
This is my own simplistic take on it:
Whether we like it or not, the hands-on things that we all do as writers, art directors, designers, film-makers, and so on WILL be automated. Initially with questionable results, but getting better by the day.
Sooner or later the immediate access to any data needed, combined with massive computing power, will make sure of that. Fact finding is already a digital sport. Creative analysis, and strategy is most likely heading in the same direction.
So, again, what will ultimately be left for us humans to do better?
Spontaneously, a few things come to mind: The preservation and continuous evolution of values … building genuine personal relations ... open-minded intellectual curiosity … understanding and managing the behavioral, social, and emotional driving forces in our lives … saving mankind ... little things like that.
And, if we do it right the results is bound to be fantastic.
Now, how does all that (or whatever issues I may have missed here) translate into new buying motives, new professional roles, new business concepts?
Don’t be shy now. I am generously flaunting my ignorance. What do YOU think?
